Required Application Materials for College Match Finalists
DEADLINE for all required materials listed below: Tuesday, November 1, 2011
If you have ranked Brown University as one of your choices for the QuestBridge National College Match, the following four items must be submitted to the college as soon as you are notified of your finalist status on October 21. It is highly recommended that you begin this process in early October. If you do not submit the required materials by November 1, 2011, Brown may choose not to consider your application for the College Match.

If you are not selected as a National College Match Finalist, please review the college-specific requirements for QuestBridge students who wish to apply through the Regular Decision process.
Brown University requirements for College Match finalists (All documents due November 1, 2011)
- Official test scores
Request official score reports from the College Board and/or ACT as soon as you are notified of your QuestBridge finalist status on October 21. You should not use the "rush reporting" service. SAT code: 3094 ACT code: 3800 For more information about testing and testing deadlines click here.

- Additional Financial Aid Documentation
All applicants are required to complete the CSS Profile. In addition students may receive a request from the Brown University Office of Financial Aid for additional information. If you do not receive a request, the Office of Financial Aid has enough information to provide an estimated financial aid award at the time of admission. A request for additional information should not be interpreted as an indication of a pending College Match.

You may apply to Brown University via Regular Decision. Admission through Regular Decision is not binding and does not come with a guaranteed financial aid package. You must complete two steps in order to apply:
- Complete the Common Application and the Brown supplement to the Common Application (available online here). You can also request that QuestBridge forward your QuestBridge application to Brown by going to your "My Locker" page on the QuestBridge website between December 1st and December 15th.
- Submit all required additional materials including an official trancript(s) of all high school coursework, 2 letters of recommendation from teachers of academic subjects (these can be the same letters used for the QuestBridge application), a Secondary School report, an official report of required test scores (either SAT Reasoning + 2 Subject Tests OR ACT with the writing component). Refer to the Brown University admission website for full information.
All additional materials are due by the January 1st Regular Decision deadline, and you will be notified of the admissions decision by April 1st. Please note that you need to submit additional materials even if you ranked Brown University for the College Match process.
Brown's Testing Requirements
Each of our partner colleges has different requirements for standardized tests that students must take in order to be considered for admission. Please review the testing requirements for Brown below. Refer to the National College Match Requirements (above) for instructions regarding submission of test scores to the colleges.
Must take one of the following combinations:
- SAT Reasoning Test and any 2 SAT Subject Tests; or
- ACT with Writing
