  • Interested in Pre-Med? Students at Northwestern successfully gain admission to medical schools from many different majors, both within and outside of the sciences.

  • Interested in Engineering? Since 1939, Northwestern's McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science has been teaching students to become technical leaders with the skills that make them signicant contributors to society. Freshmen explore engineering through the unique Engineering First curriculum, and students with broadly based interests are able to work towards two degrees in engineering or pursue a combined degree program.   • interested in Journalism? Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism offers a BS in Journalism. During their junior year, all Medill students complete an 11 week Journalism Residency.

  • Interested in Pre-Law? Each year, many Northwestern students and recent graduates apply to law school.
