Available Majors and Career Preparation

  • Princeton offers over 30 majors (called concentrations) as well as 34 certificate programs. Areas of study range from Robotics & Intelligence Systems to Archaeology to Slavic Languages & Literature. See the entire list of available concentrations and certificates at Princeton. Student to faculty ratio is 5:1.


  • Interested in Engineering? Princeton has a School of Engineering and Applied Science offering programs of study including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science and more. In addition, Princeton has a School of Architecture through which undergraduates can earn a bachelor's degree in Architecture.


  • Interested in being Pre-Med? Princeton's Office of Health Professions Advising works with students from orientation through graduation to give support and guidance to those interested in medicine. Possible majors that may be of interest to pre-med students include Molecular Biology, Chemistry, and Neuroscience.


  • Interested in Business? While no pariticular major is necessary to apply to business school, some of the related concentrations offered at Princeton include economics, mathematics, public and international affairs, operations research and financial engineering.
