What Quest Scholars about housing...

“Living in the Chicano/Latino theme dorm my first year was a great experience for me. Theme dorms are certainly not for everyone, but living in Zapata was exactly what I needed. I think that living in Zapata was one of the main reasons why I did not have trouble transitioning into Stanford. Academically there were always upperclassmen who were able to answer questions. I viewed many of the older girls and guys as brothers and sisters. The people at Zapata were like a family and the dorm had a homey feel to it.”
