  • Vassar has 27 departments, 6 interdepartmental programs, and 13 multi-disciplinary programs, including Africana Studies, Environmental Studies, and Media Studies.

  • Interested in being Pre-Med? Vassar offers a variety of science programs to prepare students to apply for medical school. Vassar offers majors and programs of study in biology, chemistry, and physics and astronomy.


  • Interested in Engineering? Under the Vassar-Dartmouth Dual Degree Program in Engineering, Vassar students spend their junior year at Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering. They return to Vassar for their senior year to receive their degrees, and then have the option of returning to Dartmouth for an additional year to earn a general engineering degree.


  • Interested in Business? Vassar offers majors in Economics and Mathematics to prepare student for future work in business.
