Outside scholarships
Outside scholarships up to $2,250 may be used to reduce a student's summer and term-time employment requirements. Scholarships in excess of $2,250 will be used to reduce the Caltech grant.

Health Insurance
Caltech Health Insurance is required of all students. The cost of health insurance is included in required fees and is covered by financial aid.

Other details
A travel allowance will be determined by Caltech. The Caltech grant will be increased by the amount of the travel allowance.
