National College Match Requirements for:
Finalists who rank Columbia University

Please submit these materials as soon as you are notified you are a Finalist.

FAQ (for College Match participants only)

College Match Required Application and Financial Aid Materials
Deadline: November 1
1. The Common Application with Columbia Writing Supplement and questions, AND all supporting documents. Submit along with official transcripts, Secondary School Report, and two teacher recommendations.

Select the "Regular Decision" option (not "Early Decision").

The application fee will be waived for QuestBridge Finalists. In the application to Columbia, please select, "Yes, I qualify for one of Columbia University's fee waivers."
2. Official Transcripts Columbia requires an official high school transcript from all high school attended, which should be submitted as part of the Common Application Secondary School Report by your high school counselor or school official.
3. Official Test Scores

SAT code: 2116 (Columbia College or Columbia Engineering)
ACT code: 2717 (Columbia College or Columbia Engineering)

Columbia requires official score reports and recommends that you request official scores from the College Board and/or ACT as soon as you are notified that you are a Finalist. It is critical that you use the correct registration code to ensure delivery of scores.  The appropriate ETS code is 2116, and the appropriate ACT code is 2717.

Please do not utilize the "rush" service in sending your test scores to Columbia; doing so does not speed up the processing of your test scores.

Columbia reserves the right to not evaluate a candidate whose scores are not reported directly by the testing agency.  We are unable to guarantee that any scores from tests taken after the deadlines will arrive in time to be reviewed.

Columbia requires either the SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests or the ACT Plus Writing. If applying to Columbia Engineering, you must take Math 1 or 2 and either Physics, Biology or Chemistry SAT Subject Tests.

The last acceptable test dates for students applying for the College Match are in October for both the ACT and SAT.
