Finalists who rank Dartmouth College

Please submit these materials as soon as you are notified you are a Finalist.

College Match Required Application and Financial Aid Materials

1. Official Test Scores

SAT code: 3351
ACT code: 2508

Request official scores from the College Board and/or ACT. Do NOT use the rush reporting service. If you cannot send test scores to Dartmouth in time, your guidance counselor or teacher should email a copy of your score report to the Dartmouth Admissions Office (see Contact Info below). 

Dartmouth requires either the SAT and 2 SAT Subject Tests or the ACT Plus Writing and 2 SAT Subject Tests. 

The TOEFL or IELTS is required for any applicant whose first language is not English.

Guidance counselors should email or mail official transcripts to the Dartmouth Admissions Office (see Contact Info below).

2016-2017 CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE

If your parents own a business or farm:

  • Submit the CSS Financial Aid/PROFILE Business/Farm Supplement.


If your parents are divorced or separated:

  • Your noncustodial parent must submit the online Noncustodial PROFILE using the login ID and password that will be emailed to you when you complete the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE.
  • Your noncustodial parent must also submit copies of their 2014 federal tax returns with all schedules, attachments, W-2 Forms, and other earnings statements. Submit directly to Dartmouth using this cover sheet.
  • If you do not have any contact with your noncustodial parent, then you may submit a request to waive the requirement of their financial information. Download the Noncustodial Parent Waiver Petition.
4. A copy of your parents’ 2014 federal income tax returns

Signed, with all schedules, attachments, W-2 forms and other earning statements. Include personal and corporate partnership tax returns. Submit directly to Dartmouth using this cover sheet.

Mail or fax to the Financial Aid Office (see Contact Info below).

 


Options following the Match for:
Finalists who ranked Dartmouth College

Early Decision Finalists who do not match cannot apply for admission through Early Decision to Dartmouth, but may be offered the option of receiving an Early Decision admissions decision. Eligible applicants will receive an email in early December with more details and instructions.

All Finalists who ranked Dartmouth but did not match will be automatically considered in the Regular Decision process, unless you opt to receive an Early Decision admissions decision.
Regular Decision All Finalists who rank Dartmouth for the College Match, but did not match to a binding college will automatically have their applications moved into the Regular Decision process, unless you opt to receive an Early Decision admissions decision. Please submit the Common Application, your Mid-Year Report and any relevant updates.

If you no longer wish to be considered, you must contact the Admissions Office to withdraw your application (see Contact Info below).

 


Regular Decision Requirements:

Step 1: Select Dartmouth on the QuestBridge Regular Decision Form on your Application Management page between November 5 - December 9. Only check the box if you fully intend to submit a complete application to Dartmouth.
Step 2:             Submit all additional required application and financial materials to Dartmouth according to your status by the deadlines listed below.

Application Fee  Once you choose Dartmouth College in the “My Colleges” section on the Common Application, in the “Questions” section, respond to the third question, regarding a Dartmouth fee waiver, by selecting the option which reads: I qualify for a Dartmouth pre-approved fee waiver. There are no additional requirements or documentation required for the fee waiver.
