Finalists who rank Oberlin College

Please submit these materials as soon as you are notified you are a Finalist.

College Match Required Application and Financial Aid Materials

1. Official Test Scores

SAT code: 1587
ACT code: 3304

Request official scores from the College Board and/or ACT. Do NOT use the rush reporting service.

Oberlin requires the SAT or the ACT Plus Writing.

Applicants enrolled in a home school curriculum must take 2 additional SAT Subject Tests or ACT Plus Writing.

2. Official Transcripts

The transcript must include a 12th grade course schedule.

If your parents are divorced or separated:

  • Your noncustodial parent must submit the Non-Custodial Parent Statement found on the Oberlin website.
  • If you do not have any contact with your noncustodial parent, then you may submit a request to waive the requirement of their financial information. Download the Noncustodial Parent Waiver Petition.

A copy of your parents' 2015 federal income tax returns (when available)

Signed, with all schedules, attachments, W-2 forms, and other earning statements. Include personal and corporate/partnership tax returns. Mail or fax documents to the Financial Aid Office (see Contact Info below).

Early Decision Finalists who do not match may apply Early Decision to Oberlin through Early Decision II.

Regular Decision Follow the instructions below to apply through Regular Decision.

 


Regular Decision Requirements:

Step 1: Select Oberlin on the QuestBridge Regular Decision Form on your Application Management page between November 5 - December 9. Only check the box if you fully intend to submit a complete application to Oberlin.
Step 2:             Submit all additional required application and financial materials to Oberlin according to your status by the deadlines listed below.
