University of Pennsylvania
National College Match Application Requirements
for College Match Finalists

If you have ranked University of Pennsylvania as one of your choices for the QuestBridge National College Match, the Application and Financial Aid materials listed below must be submitted as soon as you are notified of your finalist status on October 22. Due to the amount of supplementary application materials required for University of Pennsylvania, it is highly recommended that you begin this process in early October.

  • The deadline to submit these requirements is November 4, 2013.
  • If you do not submit the required materials by November 4, 2013, Penn may choose not to consider your application for the College Match.
  • If you are not selected as a National College Match Finalist, please review the college-specific requirements for QuestBridge students who wish to apply through the Regular Decision process.
  • Please note: If you rank University of Pennsylvania for the College Match and are not matched at Univeristy of Pennsylvania or another binding institution, your application will automatically be considered for Regular Decision.  All you need to do is submit mid-year grades and any relevant updates. Please contact Penn if you wish to withdraw your application.

For more information, please see the FAQ for QuestBridge Students Applying to Penn.

University of Pennsylvania
Regular Decision Application Requirements

Penn's strong financial aid program is "need-blind," "need-based" and "grants-based," meaning that they will not consider a family's income when making admissions decisions, and, once a student is admitted, Penn will meet his or her family's financial need. Further, Penn will not include loans as a part of students' financial aid awards. All dependent undergraduate students eligible for financial aid will receieve loan-free packages, regardless of family income.  Learn more about Paying for a Penn Education.

You may apply to Penn via Regular Decision by completing the steps below.

  • Request Regular Decision application forwarding on your "Application Management" page between December 2nd and December 12th.
