2012 College Prep Scholarship

February
QuestBridge sends information about the College Prep Scholarship to high school juniors, educators, and organizations via mail and email.

Mid-February
College Prep Scholarship application becomes available on the QuestBridge website.

March 27 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time)
College Prep Scholarship application is due, along with one teacher recommendation.

Late April
College Prep Scholarship applicants are notified of their award status.

Early Summer
Several hundred College Prep Scholars attend QuestBridge College Admissions Conferences.

Summer
Select College Prep Scholars attend summer programs on college campuses. QuestBridge staff members and Quest Scholars begin working with counseling award recipients.

National College Match

Late Summer
QuestBridge sends information about the National College Match to high school seniors, eduators, and organizations via mail and email.

Early August
National College Match application becomes available on the QuestBridge website.

September 30
National College Match application is due, along with transcripts, teacher and counselor recommendations, and standardized test scores.

October 12
Applicants submit college rankings and College Match Agreement form to QuestBridge.

Late October
QuestBridge selects finalists and notifies all applicants of their status.

Early November
National College Match finalists submit additional required materials to colleges.

December 1
Colleges make admissions decisions and QuestBridge notifies finalists of their Match status.

December 1-15
Unmatched finalists can request to have their National College Match applications forwarded to colleges for Regular Decision consideration.

Mid-December through Spring
Unmatched finalists submit additional required materials to partner colleges and are notified of their admission status according to normal regular decision timelines.
