Outside Scholarships
Outside scholarships may be used to replace a student's Campus Employment expectation. If total scholarships exceed $2,200, the student may request deferment to subsequent academic years. Outside scholarships in excess of $2,200 that are not deferred will reduce the Student Summer Work Contribution.
Health Insurance
Scripps does not require students to have health insurance.
Other Details
The student summer work contribution will be approximately $1,700 annually but may vary slightly from year to year.
When distance necessitates, some additional scholarship funds may be available to cover travel costs.
Costs for the 2012-13 academic year will be finalized in Spring 2012. Any increases in costs will be covered with additional scholarship or grant assistance.
