QuestBridge is looking for qualified students who have diverse interests, personalities, and backgrounds. We find exceptionally motivated and academically talented, low-income students and match them with full four-year scholarships to some of the nation's most prestigious colleges and universities. Tasha Drake| Amherst College, Class of 2009

Byram, Mississippi

 

While excelling as a student and as the president of the fundraising organization she founded, Tasha joined and eventually became president of Blue Diamondz, a "stepping" group that combines jazz dance and hip-hop moves and where dancers use their bodies to create beats by clapping or stomping their feet. Tasha's personal growth is intimately tied with this novel form of dance through which she learned to overcome self-consciousness and unfamiliarity, devoting hours of solo practice in her makeshift dorm room "studio." She ultimately wishes to be a testimony of how "one person can turn struggles into beneficial gain for herself and her community." Tasha plans to pursue a career in chemical engineering or anesthesiology and possibly explore business as well.

 

Monica Friel | Amherst College, Class of 2009

San Antonio, Texas

 

Down-to-earth, thoughtful, and highly motivated, Monica dreams of becoming a cardiologist who is passionate in work and in life. She is ready for greater academic challenges and has worked with stellar maturity and determination to graduate as a junior and have a head start in her studies towards cardiology. Having a special relationship with her grandparents due to struggles in her immediate family, Monica credits her family for teaching her to be strong and controlled in emotions, to always finish what she starts, and to have a big, honest heart. Through her struggle in the University Interscholastics League, Monica learned that being truly good at what she does meant learning to find contentment in the midst of hard work. The team ultimately won the state competition in Calculator Applications. While academically gifted, Monica also has the hidden gift of handiness, blessed with the ability to sew and make her own clothes, quilts, and blankets.

 

Michelle Sanders | Amherst College, Class of 2009

Houston, Texas

 

Not only will Michelle be the first person in her immediate family to attend college, but, as the youngest in her family, she will be the first of her siblings to graduate from high school. Michelle credits her family and teachers for influencing her through their care for her, but there is an innate, empathetic leadership ability in her that is specially noticeable. Gifted but unassuming, Michelle has a mature determination that has brought her out of her own circumstance and that is graced with the genuine wish to give hope and inspiration to others who are facing difficulties like her own. In her free time, she served as a tutor for students in grades 6-12 as well as in the Boys and Girls Club out of her wish to help struggling peers. She was also a varsity tennis player and the school's president, learning to never doubt herself and never give up. Michelle's future career goal is to become a cardiac surgeon, genetics specialist or neurologist , a fitting goal for one who desires to "heal" others.

 

Sarah Woo | Bowdoin College, Class of 2009

Brooklyn, New York

 

With the adversities of a multiracial background balanced by the strong love of her parents, Sarah has learned the strength in being "different" and has gained an appreciation for diversity. She has a fascination for creative beauty, which she credits to the influence of her parents' love for travel and museums - a love rivaled by her devotion to Shakespeare, whose works she enjoys reading at home and performing at school. Sarah also has a love for music that began when she joined the Brooklyn Youth Chorus at the age of eight, traveling to Russia, Germany, and Canada. With her determination and drive for excellence, Sarah hopes to explore the math and sciences while fulfilling her "need" for the performing arts in her pursuit for a diverse education. In the future, she hopes to have a career as a pediatrician, elementary school teacher, musician, novelist or poet.

 

Latona Giwa | Grinnell College, Class of 2009

Bloomington, MN

 

Latona plans to pursue a career in social services, public health or medicine in under-developed regions of the world and desires to gain fluency in Spanish and French to support this goal.  She has taken her difficult circumstances as a young girl and turned them into a passion for community service, participating and organizing for such groups as Amnesty as well as her own charity drive to increase homelessness awareness.  With a personal appreciation for different cultures, Latona believes that understanding different cultures can help bring peace to the world.  She plans to keep her promise of serving in the Peace Corps like her grandparents, who have stirred a dedicated empathy in Latona, bringing stories of the struggles of people from the many different countries they have served.  Top of her class and recipient of the Interscholastic Athlete Award for all four high school years, Latona demonstrates excellence in a wealth of areas, but her dedication and ceaseless motivation demonstrates her notable excellence in character.

 

Anthony Oliveri | Grinnell College, Class of 2009

Crystal Lake, Illinois

 

With dreams of living out his long fascination with biology and viruses, Anthony aspires to be a virologist for a large organization such as the Centers for Disease Control or the WHO.   Anthony has a down-to-earth nature about him, believing that one should never judge one’s ability without at least giving things a try.  He finds great meaning in his personal faith and his involvement with his church youth group and has participated in many mission trips.  Through these trips, he has worked on service projects that serve individuals by supplying manual labor that they would not have otherwise, such as building a wheelchair ramp for an older lady and replacing the rotting wood floor under the washer of another.  When he is not studying to receive Academic Honors every semester, earning medals for his speech team and in Scholastic Bowl, or contributing as an Eagle Scout, Anthony loves to play the guitar or piano and to mix his own dance music as a disc jockey. 

 

Aja Saunders | Grinnell College, Class of 2009

Mount Laurel, New Jersey

 

Interested in law, social science, public policy, and government, Aja would like to be a lawyer, author and/or a public official.  As a Governor’s Scholar, Aja participated in New Jersey’s Governor’s School of Public Issues and the Future of Jersey, learning about public policy through classes, participation in a series of debates, speeches by keynote speakers, and interaction with teachers and other students.  She was also a participant of Minorities in Engineering at Lockheed Martin.  Despite her family’s financial and emotional hardships, she has come to see that her long desire to help others can be fulfilled through addressing public issues, dispelling apathy and gaining knowledge.  With her heart set on social change, Aja has actively participated in debate and mock trial, as well as community service, and hopes that her future career will shape a better society for all individuals.

 

Karie Runcie | Rice University, Class of 2009

Elmont, NY

 

During her high school years, Karie left her familiar homeland of Jamaica for the United States, weathering the stormy emotional transition with the determination that she would continue to give her best.  While she is a stellar student and pianist, Karie has also proven to be a community leader, planning a local school blood drive, serving as President and Vice President of Key Club, organizing a Senior Citizen Prom, volunteering with Peerhelpers, and mentoring younger students.  She has also received the Distinguished Delegate Award as Denmark in Rutger’s Model United Nations, reflecting her mature awareness of current world events, her hard-working nature, and her oratory abilities.  With Science, math and music as her primary academic interests, Karie is considering a career in law or medicine.  One of her aspirations is to carry out medical community service projects in the two countries of her home, Jamaica and the United States.

 

Katherine Vazquez | Rice University, Class of 2009

Central Islip, New York

 

Katherine is an artist with a spirited hunger for new, different modes of self-expression, but her aesthetic eye is not limited to introspection.  Her talent is obvious, but it is deemed extraordinary by her heart of service.  In fact, even at her young age, Katherine has used her gift to positively change the perspectives of those around her.  While achieving academic excellence, she has also been a member of Habitat for Humanity throughout high school and has served on different art committees.  Her constant desire to help others – to “uplift spirits” through compassion and love—has prompted her to paint murals for a local elementary school as well as for the pediatrics center of Stony Brook University Hospital.  She believes in the power of her work to speak her convictions about peace, hope, and purpose as well as injustice and oppression.  With her heart for the arts, Katherine is also fascinated by the natural sciences, and her career interests range from molecular biology and genetics to visual arts and architecture.

While having interests in history, social science, and archeology, Sarah loves the study of biotechnology and genetics, and seeks a career in medicine, biotechnology or neuroscience.   She also has a passion for the environment, appreciative of the beauty of nature and hopeful of restoring nature’s goodness.   A hard-working, determined, top-notch student throughout high school, Sarah gained participation in the Howard Hughes High School Scholar Program during the summer of her sophomore year, where she learned about the expanding field of biotechnology through lectures, labs, and hands-on research.  Her research has further inspired her to work as either a bioengineer or a neurosurgeon.  With a strong belief in the power of the human mind to supply an ever-optimistic willpower to achieve, Sarah hopes to live a life that spreads positivism and warmth to others.

 

Daniel Young | Rice University, Class of 2009

Longview, Washington

 

Daniel is musically gifted to say the least.  He is a performing pianist and 1st Chair oboist and has shared his talents through his orchestra, his church worship team, and his school worship team.  He has attained numerous medals and performance requests as a competing pianist and has performed for the joy of others at weddings and various church functions.  A young Native American with pride and reverence for his heritage, Daniel hopes to use the perseverance and determination he has learned as a musician to lead an influential and successful life.  He holds strong ideals and gallantly lives by them.  Daniel is greatly fascinated by astronomy and aspires to be an astrophysicist for NASA in the future.  He has been an avid reader of scientific magazines and believes in the power of science to improve the world we live in.  In moments outside of exploring his musical and scientific passions, Daniel has also played varsity soccer at his high school.

 

Neena Chakrabarti | Trinity College, Class of 2009

Rockville, MD

 

When Neena was two years old, her mother courageously left a difficult life in her native country with only her daughter and the hope for a better life to sustain her.  Respectful of her mother’s tenacity and reflective of their struggles as a family of two, Neena grew to be a mature, independent young woman with determination and a deep passion to fight injustice.  Her boldness fuels a persistent drive for excellence in academics as well as extracurricular, such as playing flute in her school orchestra pit, speaking her mind as the lead lawyer in Mock Trial, leading as the vice president of her Psychology Club, and running as the Scholar Athlete in track and field.  Neena has long had the dream of earning a doctorate in chemistry and plans to be involved in lab sciences in the future, while continuing to play the piano, tuba, and flute.

 

Lynda Ikejimba | Trinity College, Class of 2009

Park Forest, Illinois

 

At the age 6, Lynda immigrated to the United States from Nigeria, where, she recalls, “electricity came and went with the whims of the government.”  Her early childhood shaped her character greatly, as she lived in poverty and a growing awareness of those who were suffering around her.  Empathy, independence, gratitude, and perseverance became embedded in her identity as well as an appreciation for hard work and for the human struggle towards life-long goals.   In the classroom, Lynda is a student who actively engages fellow students and personally applies herself to the material she learns.  She has often spent time outside of class to speak with an instructor to sharpen her vocalizing and reasoning skills as well as develop deeper relationships. She is passionate about the study of sociology and anthropology and aspires to have a career in either field.  Lynda has also represented her school in track and field and has been a community-serving member of Key Club throughout her high school career.

 

Verdell Walker | Trinity College, Class of 2009

Cautaula, Georgia

 

Fascinated by economics, international relations, Egyptology, and Middle Eastern culture, Verdell aspires to become an officer in the U.S. Navy and later a diplomat in the Middle East.  She is a highly-motivated, intelligent young woman who is unafraid to meet the challenges on the road to achieving any goal.  Growing up in poverty as the child of a single parent catalyzed Verdell’s quest for success and for a better life for her and her mother.  She is grateful to her mother for instilling altruism in her, teaching her that “time and love are the greatest charitable contributions.”  She has a mature moral resolve and a determination that particularly sets her apart in character and leadership.  Aside from her academic accomplishment and personal integrity, Verdell has also placed 1st in the Economics Competition for Future Business Leaders of America and is a track and field athlete.

 

Liuan Chen | Wheaton College, Class of 2009

Vidor, TX

 

Liuan immigrated to the United States from China at an early age.  Deeply reflective and conscientious, she has learned the importance of grateful appreciation for the sacrifices of others as well as the need to look at others’ needs before her own.  She is profoundly driven to reflect love, peace, and compassion in all circumstances, and is unafraid to do what is right despite doubting onlookers.  Through her strong faith, she finds the strength to see past difficulties and to help others while excelling in her own work, balancing her studies with church activities and work in her family’s restaurant.  She is the top of her class, has held the title of USAA’s All-American Scholar and HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar Ambassador, and has placed 1st in the UIL Journalism District Competition.  Liuan loves reading, creative writing (especially poetry), playing the piano, and many forms of dance, including jazz and hip-hop. She is considering a profession in the fields of journalism, freelance writing, Christian Ministry, medicine or education.

 

Joshua Glantz-Hucks | Wheaton College, Class of 2009

Fallon, NV

 

As the son of military personnel, Joshua grew up in Florida, Okinawa and Yokosuka, Japan.  He is a young man of mature compassion, and he is considering a career in medicine or a related field.  His greatest dream is to continuously bring hope to all those around him.  He demonstrates a sensitive reverence for the struggles of humanity, respecting those who have gained wisdom and patience through adversity.  Joshua greatly values his relationships with others, and has a particularly deep love for his friends and family.  His faith is the main source of his loving heart, and he has actively served in his church youth group as well as campus ministries.  Joshua is a National Ventures Scholar, an Honors Cadet, and is also the proud first pianist in his family.

Having been homeschooled for most of his life, Ari demonstrates a bright, well-rounded mind.  He has had the privilege of traveling the world, attaining a breadth of insight and an appreciation for diversity.  Due to his travels, Ari has grown to enjoy the study of foreign languages, and has dreams of reconciling countries that have had historical struggles just as his parents have worked to bring understanding between Jews and Germans.  While he has talent and love for soccer, Ari is also a pianist, who has composed over 50 pieces for the piano.  He has even seen his works performed. In college he plans to pursue his interests in mathematics, logic, music composition, foreign language, and will possibly seek a career in medicine, diplomacy, or higher education.  

 

David Pierce | Wheaton College, Class of 2009

Covington, VA

 

David is a young independent thinker.  Well-read through the homeschooling he received during his high school years, David has developed a strong ability to digest information and draw firm conclusions.  With the belief that correct thinking and love is necessary to better the world, he desires to further strengthen his ability to think rationally and act thoughtfully.  David is greatly grounded in his faith and his respectful appreciation for those who are able to love others more than themselves.  He is unafraid to be honest and to be true to his beliefs.  Through his role as a soccer referee, David has learned the importance of overcoming indecision and standing firm in his decisions.   He has also been named MVP for his soccer team and has worked as a ski instructor.  As a well-rounded student, David’s interests range from history, political science, and foreign language to theology and literature.

Rayna is a top-notch student as well as a gifted athlete in basketball and track and field, readily accepting challenges with the confidence that she will be able to give her best effort to meet any test of her determination.  Grounded in her faith, Rayna dedicates many hours to church service and activities, and she respects those who have the ability to rise above any circumstance or expectation.  When she is not busy with her extracurriculars, such as Key Club, she loves to reading biographies.  However, the person she most admires is her grandmother, who is the first black woman to complete the radiology program at Oregon Health and Science University.

Rustam is a perseverant, self-aware, young man who values hard work, honesty, and courage. He gratefully credits his family for being the greatest influence in his life, keeping him down-to-earth and providing a constant source of personal lessons that feed his service-oriented character. Coupled with his respect for integrity is a strong belief that increasing his knowledge of the world is necessary to increase his ability to serve the public and that taking on challenges can change him and, in turn, change the world. This belief is apparent in his strive and his success in excellence– whether as an honors student, a violist, a varsity athlete, or a brother to younger twin sisters. He hopes to become an emergency room physician, biochemical engineer, or a politician whose “dreams were his life and his life as in his dreams.”

The son of Dominican immigrants, Francisco will join his sisters in being the first generation in his family to attend college. Working side-by-side with his parents to make ends meet, Francisco came to gain sensitivity to those in need, respect for dedication, and the conviction that he can do whatever he puts his mind to. Francisco’s unrelenting determination to give his best is apparent in his academic accomplishments as well as his “Defense Player of the Year”-titled talent in baseball. Fascinated by art, history, physics and foreign languages, Francisco is considering a career in architecture or engineering, and his love for playing baseball serves as a continual reminder of the importance of dedication in achieving one’s goals.

“The search for knowledge grants me lasting optimism that one day I too can help those in need.” Strong will, confidence, and creativity are three qualities that Julia values and the same three qualities that make her stand out as a scholar and thespian. This vibrant young lady demonstrates a focused drive to fill every moment with productivity, value, and novelty, and through personal relationships, she has developed a sensitive heart towards those who face health adversities. Julia appreciatively cites her parents and their encouraging her development as an independent thinker and artist. With academic interests in biology, physiology and theatre, Julia plans to explore cardiology, dermatology, and various fields of medical technology for her future career while continuing to live out her love for the theatre.

 

Jared Currier | Williams College, Class of 2009

In order to help his mother support the family, Jared began working most of his weekend hours as a waiter during his high school years. Quick to learn from his surroundings and blessed with charming humor and eloquence, Jared embraced endurance and tolerance, sticking to his goal of maintaining a level of respect for people no matter how difficult the situation or the person. This hard-working, family-oriented youth was also a member of Maine’s All-Star Mathematics Team and a consistent high scorer in the national American Mathematics Competition. Aware of his knack for math and sciences and with hopes of securing a profession that can help others, Jared is considering the field of radiology for his future career.

 

Kristen Emhoff | Williams College, Class of 2009

Massillion, Ohio

 

As a student, Kristen excels in her classes, but she also takes the extra step to find new challenges for her mind and body. She enjoys feeding her natural curiosity by engaging in conversations that delve deeper than what her classes offer, keeping herself aware of current events and philosophies and away from superficiality. Her tri-athletic excellence in cross-country, track, and soccer is the fruit of her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the unshakable determination that painstakingly triumphed over a Frieberg’s Infraction. Reflective and mature, Kristen is rooted in a noble spirit of teamwork and continual self-improvement. Keeping her future options open, Kristen is currently interested in the natural sciences, math, and English, and she hopes to continue her education at an influential graduate school.

 

Shyla Foster | Williams College, Class of 2009

Bloomington, California

 

“I am passionate about the written word… and fascinated by the abilities of the imagination.” Shyla is a gentle, sensitive spirit who has a remarkable passion for understanding, creating, and expressing through her poetry, stories and personal journal. She firmly believes in respecting everyone and anyone as individuals as well as being true to oneself and making the most of one’s strengths. She finds inspiration in her mom’s courage as a single parent of three, learning not be afraid to do things on her own. Shyla’s firm dedication to education is coupled by her aspiration to further understand the magic she sees in words, thought, and imagination. It is no surprise that Shyla is considering the areas of philosophy and psychology for career possibilities.

 

Dalena Frost | Williams College, Class of 2009

McMinnville, Oregon

 

A first-rate student, gifted leader, and creative artist, Dalena shines as a well-rounded student with a passion for finding and sharing hope and joy through her talents. Music is a major part of her identity, and she has accordingly served as a member of her community play’s choir, her school’s Band President, and the leading chair for the saxophones in her school’s Jazz Ensemble. She occasionally even records music with her friends. An observant and ideal-driven young lady, Dalena has a keen appreciation for gaining new levels of understanding through creativity and wishes to become a writer, musician, artist, or performing artist.

 

Anna Hernandez | Williams College, Class of 2009

Eureka, California

 

A young dreamer with compassion and devotion, Anna loves learning and desires to gain wisdom and knowledge to influence the world to change through her writing– “that the world can learn a little of itself when they read [her] work.” Though seemingly inward-oriented in her journal-writing nature, Anna appreciates physical fluidity as she does fluidity in words, participating in gymnastics and having earned a black belt in Hwa Rang Do. The literary and poetic interests that Anna has had since childhood have further branched into the humanities to history and Spanish, which she plans to explore while nurturing her primary passion for writing. She is interested in becoming a writer or a teacher.

 

Naya-Joi Martin | Williams College, Class of 2009

Bronx, New York

 

Naya-Joi’s passion, determination, and hard work is apparent in her accomplishments. Overcoming racial intolerance and the struggles of a single-parent home, Naya-Joi found the power to accept herself and strive to achieve. She has played as a member of Fieldston School’s Varsity basketball team and as the captain of the Varsity soccer team and has volunteered as an assistant coach for both sports at youth summer leagues. However, Naya-Joi credits dancing as the main inspiration that took her from an unsure young girl to a confident young lady who has begun to instruct other students as a member of Fieldston’s Touring Dance Company. With her self-assurance and dedication, she hopes to further explore psychology as well as international affairs that particularly deal with women.

 

Alex Shandrovsky | Williams College, Class of 2009

San Francisco, California

 

Alex is a driven young leader who has a passion for truth, believing strongly its ability to achieve change in the world. A young Jewish immigrant who is dedicated to his heritage, Alex has a mature heart for public service and wishes to work with the government or a non-profit, combining business and social work with ethical and social responsibility. During his high school years, he founded Students for Magen David Adom (SMDA), a charity that raised thousands of dollars for Israel’s medical emergency services. His heart for community is also apparent in his founding and heading a community mural project and his volunteering with Jewish Family and Children Service’s Seniors at Home program. Having learned to fend for his family as a young boy and having witnessed the strength of his mother in her recovery from cancer, he has a genuine, dignified reverence for loyalty, humility, and strong will. Alex is also passionate about scholarship, studying the Talmud to strengthen his ethics and intellect as well as observing debates to develop his oratory skills.

 

Sarah Stone | Williams College, Class of 2009

Honolulu, Hawaii

 

As the daughter of missionaries, Sarah has a special, sensitive perception of the world through her many travels and encounters with people in many corners of the world. She greatly admires those who seek to find their purpose in life and who are brave enough to live according to their beliefs. Rooted in her personal faith, Sarah hopes that people will see good in themselves, realize their talents and purpose, understand how to best use their gifts, and ultimately find satisfaction in their lives. Her academic and career interests include law, classics (Latin and Greek) and computer engineering. While being a singer for her church worship team and a self-taught guitarist, Sarah also enjoys using her web design skills in her spare time or as Webmaster for her school clubs.

 

John Vu | Williams College, Class of 2009

Garden Grove, California

 

Through personal determination to triumph over illness and inspiration from his family’s escape from communist Vietnam, John has grown into a young man with a drive to live an influential life of meaning and principle. Desiring to challenge himself, better himself, and better the communities around him, John has been greatly involved at his church as well as his school chapter of Amnesty International. He greatly values education, believing in its power to create a better life, and he has a resilient determination that he found in his family’s struggles as immigrants. While having a proactive humanitarian nature, John is a scientist at heart, founding and leading an innovative math, science, and engineering club at his high school. Abiding by his long fascination with science, John is considering a career in aerospace or aeronautics engineering.

 

Kenny Yim | Williams College, Class of 2009

Vancouver, Washington

 

Kenny credits his parents’ hard work as Chinese immigrants for setting a lasting example of diligence for his impressionable childhood mind. He is a strong contender for self-responsibility, advocating the power of self-will to lift a person out of any adversity. As a first generation Chinese-American, he found inspiration and developed a continuing admiration for the teachers who kindly helped him in his education. To this day, Kenny has a fascination with learning and teaching and wishes to become a teacher himself, particularly a university professor. With an appreciation for diversity and a passion to reach those facing hardship, Kenny hopes to pursue the field of political science and international relations.

Colbye Prim | Williams College, Class of 2009

Alexandria, Louisiana

 

Colbye is what she herself calls a “giftie,” one “who is never afraid, but rather roused by an academic challenge.” Along with her love for learning new things, Colbye has proven to have a leadership with words and action, winning 1 st Place for Oral Interpretation on the Debate Team and serving as a regional president for the French Club. Her ambitious creativity is apparent in her abilities as a guitarist as well as her 1 st Place in Emerging Business ideas for Future Business Leaders. This eloquent young woman believes in the power of understanding to better the world and holds to her convictions treating others as she would like to be treated. Cultivating her inner “giftie,” Colbye plans to pursue her natural inclination towards math and to further explore her growing interest in languages.

Terrence has long had the dream of being the first in his family to receive a college education.  Battling the difficulties of growing up in a single-parent home and the stereotypes held against African American males, he cites his mother’s constant encouragement and faith in him as the inspiration for his academic endeavors – one that enabled him to receive an education at the most top-ranking high schools in the nation.  Gifted and highly motivated in intellect and leadership, Terrence has testified in front of Congress, served as the student member of the District of Columbia School Board, and interned at Howard’s University Neurosurgery Department.   He strives to live a life of hard work and “dedication to helping others with their financial, health and simply personal issues.”  Aware of his community needs, he has also served as a chairman of YMCA Youth and Government and as the director of Teen Plays at the Children’s Hospital.  With academic interests in biology and mathematics, Terrence aspires to fulfill his long dream of becoming a neurosurgeon.

A young Penobscot Native American, Alivia has a sensitive heart for her community and has the desire to motivate youth – especially the youth in the reservation she calls home.  With her awareness and compassion for children under foster care and having been under foster care herself, Alicia has devoted her spare time as a member of the Youth Leadership Advisory Team and the state-wide Youth Opportunities Board.  Alivia has an apparent, natural leadership and has been chosen as both a state and national representative of Native American youth.  Mature, responsible, compassionate, and dedicated, Alivia has traveled to represent the nation at Australia when she was nominated to the People to People Student Ambassador Program.  While dedicated to academic excellence and passionate about service, Alivia is also a gifted athlete, having served as varsity captain for both cross country and track and having won a silver medal at Flatwater Nationals in competitive canoeing.  With academic interests in natural and social sciences as well as world history, Alivia is currently exploring the areas of environmental science, sociology, and anthropology for her future career.
