Students complete and submit the
QuestBridge application (including their rankings of partner colleges),
and submit the application.
Ranking: Students select up to 8
of QuestBridge's partner colleges for which they would like to be considered for admission and the College Match
scholarship.
It is important to note that students
should only rank those colleges that they are certain they would
want to attend if awarded admission and a full scholarship,
as the College Match is a binding contract.
Application forwarding: Students who may wish to apply to our partner colleges through the Regular Decision process if they are not matched should indicate the schools to which they would like to have their application automatically forwarded.
QuestBridge reviews applications
and selects finalists, who are the students that will be considered
by partner colleges for admission and the College Match Scholarship.
QuestBridge notifies finalists of
their status and forwards their applications to the appropriate colleges.
Partner colleges select the students
they would like to admit with full four-year College Match scholarships.
QuestBridge matches students with the
highest ranked college on their list that has also selected them.
QuestBridge notifies College Match award recipients
of their status.
For students who are not matched, QuestBridge forwards
their applications to the partner colleges that the students requested
in the Application Forwarding section of their application, for
consideration under regular decision admissions.

Last year, over 500 QuestBridge students received admission
to our partner colleges through the Regular Decision process and received financial aid packages worth a total
of over $40 million. To apply through Regular Decision, you will need to proceed as follows:
Decide which
colleges you would like to apply to for the Regular Decision cycle.
Review the Regular Decision Table
and check whether or not the QuestBridge application
will replace each college's application. If the QuestBridge application
does not replace theirs, then you will need to apply to that
college through their standard admissions process. If the QuestBridge
application does replace their application, continue to step 2.
You will need to send a letter (or email)
to each college admissions office stating that you are a
QuestBridge applicant who would like to be considered for
regular admissions using your QuestBridge application.
Information on where to send the letter or email can be found on the
Regular Decision Table.
Review the
Regular Decision Table and submit any additional materials that are required.
At this stage, it is important to note that you will
still need to review the respective colleges' admissions
processes and requirements and adhere to their deadlines and
policies.
Colleges will contact you directly to
inform you of their admission and financial aid decisions.
