Zach’s enthrallment with the human brain and how it works drives his desire to become either a psychiatrist or a neurosurgeon. Zach possesses a strong desire to venture out into the rigors of society and help people live more normal lives. Zacharias is very kind, with a pleasant and loving personality, which only serves to compliment the more complicated inner workings of his mind. He loves to go to church and to participate in his church's youth group (six O’ five) on a regular basis. Through the outreach of his church, he has participated in many community service projects, including working in a soup kitchen, organizing community clean-up groups, and helping clean up the mass destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. On a more technical scale, Zacharias helped set up a satellite so that residents in the greater New Orleans area could communicate with FEMA, in addition to helping run a wide scale wireless network so that New Orleans city officials and residents could access the internet. While not participating as vice president of the Key Club, taking a rigorous course load of honors and AP classes, or participating in the Mississippi All-State Orchestra, Zacharias enjoys playing his bass guitar and spending time with his family.
