Paulina Sanchez is very determined, thoughtful and adaptable. She is interested in pursuing a career in forensic science, with plans to major in biochemistry and to also study biotechnology. She enjoys reading, and especially enjoys the series written by J. K. Rowling. At her school, she is involved in NCAL, North County Academic League, as well as SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Link Crew, and Helping Hands, a community service program. She also volunteers at the local library every week. She has overcome many adversities, including losing all of her first semester credits for tenth grade due to complications involved in a move to Texas. However, she has recovered from this and many other problems she has encountered on the road to success. She hopes to continue overcoming all the obstacles that block her path with determination and faith in herself.
