Williams' National College Match Requirements

Required Application Materials for College Match Finalists

DEADLINE for all required materials listed below: Tuesday, November 1, 2011

If you have ranked Williams College as one of your choices for the QuestBridge National College Match, the following four items must be submitted to the college as soon as you are notified of your finalist status. It is highly recommended to begin this process before you are notified of your finalist status on October 21. If you do not submit the required materials by November 1, 2011, Williams may choose not to consider your application for the College Match.

You can rank Williams College, the Williams College Tyng Scholarship, or both on your match list. Tyng Scholars have access to funding for summer internship, research and study opportunities, and receive up to $150,000 of need-based funding for graduate or professional school in their chosen field. Though students need to have an expected family contribution (EFC) of zero to be matched with Williams College, applicants who list the Williams College Tyng Scholarship on their match list will be considered for the Tyng Scholarship regardless of their EFC amount. For more information about the Tyng Scholarship, contact Diversity Recruitment Director, Ahmmad Brown ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Please note that the requirements for Williams College and the Williams College Tyng Scholarship are the same. If you rank both Williams College and the Williams College Tyng Scholarship, do not submit the required materials twice.

If you are not selected as a National College Match Finalist, please review the college-specific requirements for QuestBridge students who wish to apply through the Regular Decision process.
