Student Relations, Program Support (Temporary)

 We currently have an opportunity for a Temporary Student Relations Program Support to contribute to the QuestBridge mission and be a part of our 2019 National College Match application process. As part of the Student Relations team, this position will perform a vital informational role by communicating with and providing support to students, parents, and educators through phone and email. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with students, parents, and educators via phone and email, answer questions about QuestBridge programs, and help students through the National College Match application process.
  • Assist with outreach communications (paper mail, email, and phone) to current and potential partner organizations, educators, and students.
  • Assist with other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as needed.

  • Heightened sensitivity towards working with people from diverse backgrounds and able to handle sensitive, personal information.
  • Desire to contribute to overall QuestBridge goals and mission.
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with a small team of colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starting, resourceful, and organized with high quality standards and a good eye for detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid skills with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of the college application process is a plus.

Compensation:

Compensation dependent on experience and skills.

Hours, Duration, and Location of Work:

This is a full time non-exempt temp assignment with possibility of long-term extension based on organization needs and individual performance. The QuestBridge office is located in Palo Alto, within walking distance of the California Ave Caltrain station.
