QuestBridge Emergency Fund

The QuestBridge Emergency Fund provides monetary aid to QuestBridge Scholars or Alumni in an emergency situation when an unplanned expense threatens their health, security, or ability to continue attending school. Inspired by members of the QuestBridge Alumni Association, the fund was established during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to provide support to members of the QuestBridge community, having awarded over 100 grants so far.

Applicants are eligible to receive a grant of up to $300 once per year. Application turnaround is four weeks or less, with the idea that applicants should not have to take out additional loans to attend to an immediate issue.

The QuestBridge Emergency Fund is administered by QuestBridge and supported by donations from generous QuestBridge Alumni and friends. Grants are not required to be paid back, but recipients are welcome to pay it forward to other members of the QuestBridge community if and when possible.
