QuestBridge Scholars Network at Bowdoin

Welcome to the Bowdoin QSN Chapter Page. As members of the QuestBridge Scholars Network at Bowdoin, we would like to invite you to get to know our chapter, which is full of passionate, inquisitive, caring and just simply put, awesome people. Our chapter strives to build a strong community within the larger Bowdoin campus for all of our Scholars and ensure that each individual is able to find their sense of belonging, whether it is within the chapter or somewhere else on campus. We have helped connect Scholars to different spaces on campus through events that we have organized — anything from social gatherings with our Mckeen Center (which connects students to service and community engagement) to the Common Good (our service center), the general Brunswick community, trips with our Bowdoin Outing Club, and exploring the beautiful outdoors Maine has to offer.

During our Explore Bowdoin programs, a diversity fly-in program, we also work with admissions to connect our Scholars to and host QuestBridge applicants. We co-host an information session during each Explore Bowdoin program with admissions to discuss the application process, but more importantly our Scholars' overall experiences at Bowdoin.

Beyond our annual Welcome Event that has traditionally had Gelato Fiasco, featuring many great Maine flavors, we hold several events for our scholars to enjoy. We have gone bowling, had movie screenings, and gone canoeing as a chapter. We like to think of our chapter as a way for you to connect with new individuals who will help you navigate your time at Bowdoin.

We hope you will consider joining our chapter and enjoy the massive support network that would be available to you. We are a resilient and passionate group of individuals. We as a chapter would love to see the continued growth of high-achieving low-income students who contribute positively to our Bowdoin community, and we hope that you will be part of that growth. Thank you for getting to know our chapter a bit and we hope to welcome you to our community soon!
