Welcome to the Brown QSN Chapter page! We are a group that prides ourselves on providing resources to all low-income and first-generation students on campus. We have three main focuses within our chapter: mentoring, social activities, and service opportunities. We are an official organization on Brown’s campus, sponsored by our university’s Student Activities Office.
We currently operate with Social, Service, Mentoring, Liaison, and Media Working Committees. We have a chapter of over 200 active members with students who are both QuestBridge Scholars and who identify with our community. We offer yearly events such as our FLIP-Giving (First Generation-Low Income) weekend in which we organize a Thanksgiving dinner, game night, Storytime, and activities off-campus for those who cannot return home during the break. We also coordinate events with First-Gens at Brown and Sidney Frank Scholars, such as a bowling trip and a thrifty shopping outing.
The QSN Chapter at Brown is a growing organization that tries to meet the needs of all low-income students at Brown University. We provide career preparation support with our Internship and Grad-School Panels. We have bi-weekly study sessions sponsored by our Social Committee with dinner and discussions pertaining to Quests Monthly Themes. Our Mentoring Committee is strong and includes over 60 upperclassmen to meet the needs of our first-year students. We would love to have you join our chapter at Brown. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.
