If you are a Finalist who ranked Holy Cross, your National College Match application will be sent to Holy Cross, and you will need to submit the following requirements to the school by November 1. If you have questions after reviewing the information below, please reach out to the school directly.
Requirements
Holy Cross Application Status Portal Activation
QuestBridge will send Finalists’ applications to college partners on October 21, and Holy Cross may need a couple of days to import them into their system. Once processed, Holy Cross will then email you instructions to log in and activate your applicant portal, where you can track the status of the materials you submit.
Complete the Holy Cross Supplement online. There are no additional essays.
Transcripts uploaded to the QuestBridge application are accepted as official, or your high school counselor can send transcripts directly to the Admission Office (see Contact Information below).
Holy Cross adopted a test-optional policy in 2005. Holy Cross' experience shows that the rigor of your high school coursework and your overall academic performance are what best illustrate your commitment, motivation, and willingness to take on challenges, and therefore how well you would fit into the challenging academic community at Holy Cross. Holy Cross accepts self-reported test scores. Applicants may indicate their preferred testing policy on the QuestBridge Supplement and may also update their testing preference and/or submit additional test scores via the applicant portal.
After completion of the CSS Profile, generally within 1-3 business days, you will receive information from the College Board regarding how to submit tax documentation via IDOC, the College Board’s secure online documentation service.
Submit your signed 2025 1040 federal tax return, with all schedules, attachments, W-2 forms and other earning statements. Include personal and corporate partnership tax returns (IRS 1065, 1120, 1120-S).
Your non-custodial parent must also submit copies of their 2025 federal income tax returns, signed with all schedules, attachments, W-2 forms and other earning statements.

Submit as soon as available
The FAFSA form will be available in the fall. Please complete the FAFSA as soon as it is available and submit it directly to Holy Cross.
U.S. Citizens and Eligible Noncitizens only. All other students do not complete the FAFSA.
Finalists who do not match may apply Early Decision II to Holy Cross. Please notify the Admission Office that you would like to be considered for Early Decision II. The deadline for Early Decision 2 is January 15th.
All Finalists who rank Holy Cross for the Match, but did not match to a binding college will automatically have their applications moved into the Regular Decision process. Please submit only your Midyear Report and any significant and relevant updates.
If you no longer wish to be considered, you must contact the Admission Office to withdraw your application.
Regular Decision Requirements:
Step 1: Select Holy Cross on the QuestBridge Regular Decision Form on your Application Management page between November 4 - December 11. Only check the box if you fully intend to submit a complete application to Holy Cross (including all of the materials detailed in the table below).
Step 2: Activate your Holy Cross Applicant Portal. QuestBridge will send Finalists’ applications to Holy Cross on December 16 and Holy Cross may need a couple days to import them into their system. Use the Holy Cross applicant portal, sent to you via email, to track the status of your materials you submit to Holy Cross.
Step 3: Submit all additional required application and financial materials by the applicable deadlines directly to Holy Cross as detailed in the table below.
