Match Requirements for:
Finalists who rank Middlebury
If you are a Finalist who ranked Middlebury, your National College Match application will be sent to Middlebury, and you will need to submit the following requirements to the school by November 1. If you have questions after reviewing the information below reach out to the school directly.

Middlebury College Applicant Portal Activation: QuestBridge will send Finalists’ applications to Middlebury on October 18, and Middlebury may need a couple days to import them into their system. Once processed, Middlebury will then email you instructions to log in and activate your applicant portal, where you can track the status of the materials you submit to Middlebury. |

Middlebury College QuestBridge Questionnaire |
After your QuestBridge application has been forwarded to Middlebury, you will receive instructions to complete the Middlebury College QuestBridge Questionnaire. This questionnaire will ask you Middlebury specific questions. This form is required to complete and review your application. |

Transcripts uploaded to the QuestBridge application are accepted as official, or your high school counselor can send transcripts directly to the Admissions Office. |

Middlebury is currently test-optional. You do not have to submit standardized test scores with your application. A lack of scores will not factor into your application review. Submit a signed copy of your parents' 2022 federal tax returns with all schedules, attachments, W-2 Forms, and other earnings statements. Include personal and/or corporate and partnership tax returns. Your non-custodial parent must also submit copies of their 2022 federal income tax returns, signed with all schedules, attachments, W-2 forms and other earning statements. |

Early Decision |
Students who rank Middlebury for the Match may not apply Early Decision to Middlebury. |
Regular Decision |
All Finalists who ranked Middlebury for the Match, but did not match to a binding college will automatically have their applications moved into the Regular Decision process. Please submit an updated transcript showing final grades earned in the fall semester and any relevant updates. If you no longer wish to be considered, you must contact the Admission Office to withdraw your application (see Contact Information below). |
Regular Decision Requirements:
Step 1: Select Middlebury on the QuestBridge Regular Decision Form on your Application Management page between November 3 - December 10. Only check the box if you fully intend to submit a complete application to Middlebury (including all of the materials detailed in the table below).
Step 2: Activate your Middlebury Applicant Portal. QuestBridge will send Finalists’ applications to Middlebury on December 14 and Middlebury may need a couple days to import them into their system. Use the Middlebury applicant portal, sent to you via email, to track the status of your materials you submit to Middlebury. If you did not rank Middlebury in the Match, you must submit a Common Application in Regular Decision.
Step 3: Submit all additional required application and financial materials by the applicable deadlines directly to Middlebury as detailed in the table below.
